If You Don't Buy Organic Meat and Dairy, This Study Is About to Change Your Mind http://ift.tt/1RKg98Y

We all know that organic products tend to be better for us by nature, but just how much better? A new study has found that both organic milk and meat contain around 50 percent more beneficial omega-3 fatty acids than conventionally produced products.

"Omega-3s are linked to reductions in cardiovascular disease, improved neurological development and function, and better immune function," Chris Seal, professor of food and human nutrition at Newcastle University, explained. "Our study suggests that switching to organic would go some way towards improving intakes of these important nutrients."

Organic farming standards require that animals are outdoor-reared and grass-fed, which results in the animals' greater welfare and production of more natural foods. So on your next grocery store trip, think twice about how the choice you make can greatly impact your health.
