When you get dressed for SoulCycle, you probably pick out a cute sports bra, a t-shirt, and some leggings - not intricate faux face tattoos and bedazzled footwear. But for Lady Gaga, dressing runway ready is the only way to go, even if she's breaking a sweat. Donning crystal-studded riding shoes and bedazzled calavera facial decorations, the performer hosted a benefit ride for her organization, the Born This Way Foundation. The fundraising fitness event raised more than $50,000 for the foundation, which offers resources for mental health and well-being to young people.
Among the riders were actress Sophia Bush, Gaga's mom (Born This Way Foundation cofounder Cynthia Germanotta), and Bobby Campbell (the pop star's manager). Participants in the benefit ride enjoyed an upbeat workout to dance tunes, including a few by Gaga herself, at the new SoulCycle Chicago location . . . And thanks to some friendly competition between Gaga, Campbell, and Germanotta, extra money was raised in the form of charitable wagers. Read on for photos from the fun event!
